I’ve been busy this year. Lots of conferences and local events. I only have a few more events to participate in this year, and my year is complete:

First up is Ruby DCamp. It is going on from October 11-12 in Washington, DC. They’ve tried to set the bar high with a different format, so I’m going to see what it is all about. I also want to see what a “Distinguished Attendee” actually is. Should be fun…..

On October 16, I’ll be doing a a talk at Ignite Baltimore. My topic is “Moving from Waterfall to Agile”. With this talk, I’m stepping a bit out of my normal blab topics, so this will be something new and definitely something fun.

In November, I’m headed to RubyConf. I had no aspirations to speak, so I’m just there to observe and soak up the good Florida weather.

On November 18, I’ll be doing a a panel with Pat Maddox and Sandi Metz on my favoring topic, testing, at Voices That Matter: Professional Ruby Conference aka ObieConf.

After this, I’m done until February. 2009 is shaping up to be just as busy as this year.
