After feeling horrible the last few days, I'm finally feeling a little better today. The pain in the kidney has lessened considerably (has it passed to the bladder? not sure) and, with the help of some prune juice, I got things flowing again that had previously been blocked up. I'm no longer counting minutes to the next allowed Vicodin dosage, and I can actually sleep for up to two whole hours at a time. My previous record was one hour.

On a side note, why don't they tell you that you are going to get constipated taking Vicodin and the like? Why do I have to learn this from family and friends? Sheesh. Anyway.

I'm getting conflicting reports on whether the stone will pass as a single chunk, or if it will dissolve. Most people seem to think single chunk, but I think the doctor at the ER said it could come out in smaller pieces.
