I'm not talking about languages, I'm talking about operating systems and build chains.
With VMWare Fusion I now have Windows 2000, Windows XP Pro, Ubuntu 8.10 (Linux), FreeBSD 7, Solaris 10 and even Haiku! I've also got MS Visual Studio (6 and 2008), gcc and (soon) the Sun Studio compiler.
Of course, I had to upgrade the RAM on this dual/dual Xeon to 6gb so that I could max out the VM's, but it was worth it. Also, I generally only run one at a time.
So, theoretically, I could have Windows/Linux/Solaris/OS X Continuous Integration, all on one machine now. :)
BTW, of all of these, Solaris 10 was by far the biggest pain in the ass to install. I had to use the console installer because the gui installer kept hanging. I also need to remove a bunch of packages I know I won't need on a desktop system so that I actually have the room to install the Sun Studio Compiler (VMWare Fusion always assigns 8gb - lame).
