Lots of jobs have standups in the morning. In many cases these standups try to get 3 things:

  • What did you do yesterday?
  • What are you doing today?
  • Do you have any obstacles you need cleared?

Kinda boring if you ask me. I want to start something new. The Twitter standup. It is really easy to do. Every morning or afternoon (depending on when you get up)... post a message to twitter about something interesting or useful you learned yesterday, and tag it with #standup.

Standups can be great for sharing knowledge. Imagine the largest standup in the world?

What to participate? Start posting your statuses now or look at what others are doing.
