So, there's an opportunity brewing for me that might (if it goes well) end up with me relocating to the UK. I'm pretty excited about that, not the least because it would be within striking distance of London, AKA The Centre Of the Known Universe as far as professional IT goes.
So, I'm giving the UK a good hard look, and frankly, I can't for the life of me figure out how people can afford to live there. Doesn't matter if it's to buy or rent -- everything looks terrifyingly expensive to me. If there are any UK'lers reading this who can explain it to me, please do leave a comment or drop me a line.
