Unlike the first iPad, with the iPad 2 you can now use FaceTime like the iPhone. Before you can starting using FaceTime you must enable it first and sign into the service. Here's how:
1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Click on the FaceTime App.
3. Then tap on the Create New Account.
4. The on screen instruction will show you how to register and create an Apple ID for you.
5. Once you have an Apple ID you can now enter in an email address that the other people will use to make a call to you. You could use more then one email if you wish. Apple will then send you a confirmation email, open up your email and reply to confirm that you are the owner of the entered email address.
6. Now that you have finished the registration process, you can proceed to log into FaceTime. Start the FaceTime app and then enter in the Apple ID and password.
7. Tap on Sign In.
8. Put in the desire email address that other party will use to call you.
9. Then tap on Next.
Once you have enable FaceTime you can start to making call or receiving call.
