Find out how you can switch your Samsung Galaxy S II to silent mode.

If you are in a meeting you might not want to disturb other people. You can switch your phone to silent mode. Here's how:

Option 1

1. Press the Power/Lock key, it is located of the right side of the phone.

2. Then select Silent mode

Option 2

1. Press the Home key.

2. Next open the application list.

3. Then select Phone.

4. From the keypard tap and hold on the # hash symbol.

Option 3

1. Press the Home android-home-key button to go back to the idle screen.

2. Then press the Menu android-menu-key key.

3. Then tap on Settings.

4. Select Sound.

5. Next ensure that the Silent mode checkbox is checked.
