Learn how to enable vibration for an incoming text messages on the Samsung Galaxy S 2.
When you change the phone profile to silent, and you have Vibrate set to Only in Silent mode from the Sound settings screen, you would think the phone should vibrate when you recieve a text messages. Unforntunately it only vibrates for an incoming call and not for text messages. To make it vibrate for text message, do the following:
1. Press the Home key to go to the Home screen.
2. Then tap on the appliction list.
3. Tap on the Messaging app.
4. Next, if you are presented with a reading screen, then tap on the Menu key.
5. Then tap on Settings.
6. Now scroll down the screen and tap on Vibrate.
7. From the popup select Only when silent or Always.
Now wait for a new message and see if you phone vibrate as anticipated.
