Learn you could unlock the screen on the Samsung Galaxy S II using pattern, PIN or password.
Locking up your device screen while you are not using it is a good way to protect unwanted people from using your device. But when you are ready to use it you must first unlock the screen. There are three ways to you can unlock your device. Here's how:
Using Pattern
1. Press The Home button to go back to idle screen.
2. Then press Menu button.
3. Next tap on the Settings.
4. Then tap on Location & Security.
5.Next select Set up screen lock.
6. Select Pattern.
7. Then click on Next from the Introduction screen.
8. If an Example pattern screen appear click on Next. The example screen may not appear if you have use this feature before.
9. Now draw your pattern by connecting the dot on the screen.
10. Once you are happy with the pattern, tap on Continue.
11. Draw your pattern again to confirm, then tap on the Confirm button.

Using PIN
1. Press The Home button to go back to idle screen.
2. Then press Menu button.
3. Next tap on the Settings.
4. Then tap on Location & Security.
5.Next select Set up screen lock.
6. Now select PIN.
7. Then from the Choose your PIN screen put in your desire PIN in the text field and tap on the Continue button..
8. From the Confirm your PIN screen, put in your PIN once more to confirm, then tap on the OK button.

Using Password
1. Press The Home button to go back to idle screen.
2. Then press Menu button.
3. Next tap on the Settings.
4. Then tap on Location & Security.
5.Next select Set up screen lock.
6. Now select Password.
7. From the Choose your password screen, put in your secret password into the text field, then tap on the Continue button.
8. From the Confirm your Password screen, put in your secret password again and tap on the OK button.
