Learn how you could enable AirPlane mode on the Samsung Galaxy S II.

When you are travelling on an aeroplane you might still like to use your device to play music or watch video file. You will have to switch it to airplane mode though. Here's how:

1. Press the Home android-home-key button to the home screen.

2. Then press the Menu android-menu-key key.

3. Then tap on Settings.

4. Choose Wireless & networks.

5. Then choose AirPlane.

Here are some of the things you can and can't do in airplane mode.

Can do:

  • View photos album
  • Make schedule on calendar, or view calendar
  • Play music and watch video files
  • Write note
  • Read note
  • Play Games.
  • Do work on certain applications

Can't do:

  • Use map locations
  • Connect to the internet
  • Send/recieve email
  • Get weather report
  • Connect to online games server
  • Watch Youtube
  • Use Facebook

Airplane mode also keeps your phone silent so you could use this feature at night when you are going to sleep and don't want receive any interuption from calls.
