Learn how youcould send or receive email with Gmail on the Samsung Galaxy S II.

Your device has the capability to send and receive data instantly when ever and where ever you need it. The email app on your software have been configured by default to use Gmail. If you have not use the email app before then it will prompt you with a login screen. Here's how to get started:

Note: Depending on which network service provider you use, the mail label maybe different.

Sending email

1. Press the Home android-home-key key to go back Home.

2. Next open on the application list.

3. Tap on Email.

If this is the first time you use the email app, then you will need to login.

1. Put in the username and password in the prompt.

2. Then once you are authenticated, fill in the detail for Give this account a name (optional) and Your name.

3. Then tap on the Done button.

4. You will then presented will an inbox screen, tap on the Menu android-menu-key key, then tap on Compose.

5. Next in the compose screen, fill in the To field, Subject and the message detail.

6. Once you are ready you can tap on the Send button, or you can discard the email by tapping on the Discard button.

If you want to attach a file you can tap on the Menu key > Add Attachment > then select a multimedia file.

 

Recieving email

1. Press the Home android-home-key key to go back Home.

2. Next open on the application list.

3. Tap on Email.

4. Then select a new email from your inbox to read them.

From the message view you have the option to Reply, Reply all or Done.

Tapping on the Menu android-menu-key key you have further options to Delete, Forward or Mark as unread.

As you can see from the above, it is quiet easy to send and recieve email with the Samsung Galaxy S II.
