Learn how you could insert the SD Card into the Samsung Focus and format it ready for use.

Adding an SD card to your device will give you more memory to store data file such as music and video files.

Note: this process will require you to reset the device, so if you have any data you wish to keep make sure you have back them up first otherwise you will lose all your data.

Here's how:

1. Turn of the Power by pressing on the Power key.

2. Then open the back cover, the release latch is at the lower back of the device.

3. Next take out the battery.

4. The SD card slot is just above the battery compartment located on the left hand side. Insert the new SD card.

5. Then put back the battery and place the back cover back on.

6. Now startup the device by pressing the Camera key + Volume down key + Power key.

7. When you feel the phone vibrates, release the Power key, whilse still holding down the Camera and Volume keys.

8. Release the Camera and the Volume keys when a message Are you sure you want to format? appears.

9. Now press the Windows key to start formatting the device.

10. Press the Windows key again to confirm your choice.

Once you device has finished with the formatting, the Wizard screen will start up. Follow the onscreen instruction to complete the process.
