The smart device like PlayBook can often run into issue when we have play around with the settings and we just don't remember what we did to make it malfunction. If you ever run into an issue you could try to reset it back to the default factory settings.
Unlike other BlackBerry device where you can simply pull out the battery and put it back in, the PlayBook won't allow you to pull out the battery, so the way to reset it is as follow:
Note: Make sure you have backup and data you wish to keep before doing this.
1. Press and hold on the Volume up + Volumn Down + Power buttons all at the same time for around 15 seconds.
Now if you like you could restore your data files from the backup.
