Learn how you could put a call on hold on iPhone 4.

When speaking with someone on the phone, you may have to put them on hold because you would like to have a private conversation with someone else. Here's how:

1. While talking with the person on the other end of the line, you will see the screen has six options (mute, keypad, speaker, add call, FaceTime and Contacts), simply tap and hold on the mute button. If you are using iPhone 3G you can tap on the Hold button.

Once you put the other party on hold then no one can hear each other.

To resume your chat simply just just tap on the Hold button again.
