Learn how you could perform a hard reset on the HTC Titan.
When your HTC device is not working as it should because it has freeze and or becoming unresponsive you could try to reset the device.There are two type of reset, and you could either software reset it or hard reset it.
Soft Reset
This method will not erase any data on your device, however make sure you have save any data that you are currently working on.
1. Find the reset hole at the bottom of the device.
2. Now use a pin and gently push the pin into the hole, shortly the screen will restart and you should se the welcome Today screen.
Hard Reset
Now if th above Soft reset does not work for you then you can opt to try to use this mothod. This is a full reset method which means it will try to clear all settings on the device and bring the device back to the manufacturer setting. Any data store on the device will be lost and any downloaded program will also be erased. Make sure that you backup any of data you wish to keep so that later you could restore it.
1. Simultaneously press and hold the left soft key and the right soft key altogether at the same time, then use a pin and press the reset button.
2. Next a confirmation screen will appears, press on the desire option if you wish to proceed or to cancel.
The HTC Titan now should start to initiate the reset process and bring it back to the factory settings.
