When your device is perform poorly due to memory leak or some buggy application has crashed the Operating System, you could restart the device to reset all the memory on the device. Here's how:
1. Turn on the device by pressing the Power button.
2. If your screen in PIN lock, put in the code to unlock it.
3. Now press and hold on the Power key.
4. From the option list select Restart.
5. Press Restart to confirm your choice.
Alternatively you could also pull out the battery, wait for 10 seconds, then put it back in to restart the device.
