Learn how you could change the lock screen time out time on the Motorola Xoom.

When you leave your device inactive for a period of time the device will automatically lock the screen and turn off the screen to save power. You could modify the time period of inactivity before the screen is locked. If the leave the time for too long the device will consume more power, and by making the time too short the screen will quickly lock it self while you are doing some reading. So make sure that you set a time period that you are most comfortable with.

Here's how:

1. Go back to the Home screen.

2. Then tap on Apps .

3. Choose Settings.

4. Select Screen.

5. Select Timeout.

6. Now you have the option to select:

• 15 seconds
• 30 seconds
• 1 minute
• 2 minutes
• 5 minutes
• 10 minutes
• 30 minutes

Make a selection and you are done.
