When you go on travelling you may like to switch the Airplane mode on to meet the safety regulation of current region you are flying on. You can easily enable or disable Airplane mode on the Motorola Xoom.
When Airplane mode is on you will not be able to use the internet, making or receiving phone calls. Also you will not be able to use Facebook or watch videos on Youtube. You could however write notes or listen to music, or watch videos file that you have store on the device memory.
Here's how:
1. Go back to the Home screen.
2. Tap on Apps . It is on the top right hand corner.
3. Next tap on Settings .
4. Then choose Wireless & Networks.
5. On the right hand side, tap on Airplane mode to enable the feature.
You should see see an airplane icon on the bottom right of the screen.
Now airplane mode is activated. You can no longer make or receive calls.
