Learn how you can easily change the Motorola Xoom notification ringtone.

When you receive an incoming message such as email, sms and etc, your device make an alert sound, this sound is known as the notification ringtone. If you like the default sound, you could change it. Here's how:

1. Tap the Home button.

2. Taps on Apps .

3. Next select Settings .

4. Then under Notifications, tap on Notifcation ringtone.

5. From the popup select the desire ringtone.

6. Finally tap on OK to accept the changes.

You could also set the ringtone for individual apps as well. For example to set a ringtone for the Gmail app do the following:

1.  Taps on Apps .

2. Next select Gmail.

3. Tap the Menu button.

4. Select Settings.

5. Now select Email notification.

6. Make the necessary changes.

Similar to the Messaging app, you could make the change by doing this: 

1.  Taps on Apps .

2. Next select Messaging.

3. Tap the Menu  button, it is on the top right corner.

4. Then select Settings.

5. Go down the screen till you see the section Notification Settings, tap on Select ringtone.

6. Now select your desire ringtone.
