In John Dvorak's recent column titled "The Clogging Factor", he talks about the sudden increase of trackback ping spam in his blog that he had to delete manually - entry by entry (yuk!)

I posted about this earlier, and thanks to the MT-Blacklist plug-in from Jay Allen, I can set up filtering for BOTH comments and trackback pings (unlike poor Dvorak).

So, the question still begs to be discussed. I am looking for your feedback on how much time you spend dealing with blog spam, types you see and whether or not you have a tool to manage it (or do you have to do it manually?).

Let the non-spam comments begin (please) ...
