Miller IS employee named Microsoft MVP

Sean McCormack, a member of Miller’s Information Systems team has been honored by Microsoft as one of 198 "Most Valuable Professionals," worldwide.

According to Microsoft’s web site, “The Microsoft MVP program is a worldwide award and recognition program that strives to identify amazing individuals in technical communities around the world. Microsoft MVPs are recognized for both their demonstrated practical expertise and willingness to share their experience with peers in Microsoft technical communities.”

“This is quite an accomplishment because the honor recognizes contributions made by IT professionals around the globe,” said Dave Baumann, Vice President – IS.  “Sean is a key contributor in the IS Division and this recognition reflects his high level of performance and skill.”

According to the web site (for anyone who understands “computer talk”): “Sean serves as the Lead .NET Architect for Miller Brewing Co., guiding the development of their next generation enterprise framework. His previous experience includes serving as the Director of Technology for an eCommerce company and a touch-screen voting company, Lead Developer for an enterprise content management company, Technical Manager for a national automotive portal, and as an Arabic Linguist and Cryptologist for the Department of Defense. Sean currently leads the Adapdev open-source foundation, helping to develop top notch open-source applications for the .NET community. His two most recent applications include Zanebug (a unit testing tool) and Codus (a code generation tool).”

Well done, Sean!
