I don't post really a lot about Apple Macintosh, but it's truely one of my favourite machine since 1984.
I bought a while ago the Mac Mini, to be setup in my sitting room connected to my TV. I could have done the same with a Media Center Windows box, but having already Sky+, I was trying to find some alternatives.
It has been a success until now, except for some minor problems, like I still can't find how to increase the default font size (if anybody knows how??).
The missing piece was indeed to find a purpose to my new toy other than browsing the web, or watching a movie. And I think I found a littl gem there called Delicious Library.
It's the kind of little tool which for me has the perfect place for a couch-potato guy like me. Basically, DL let you catalog your entire books, dvds, music and games libray in such an easy way that I find incredible I never think about programming the same tool before. You can even using the iSight Apple camera as a barcode reader to import all your entries.
If you don't have this facility, you can enter an Amazon reference, and voila every single detail of your precious CD is now recorded. This added to the Tiger new widget, and then you can finally search from your sofa the latest book you read, or impress your girlfriend with all, the massive collection of 'virtual poetry' you possess.
I would like to see this software on windows to easily reference all my .Net collection (roughly 100 books now).
