I looked at my blog today and realized I had only posted 7 times this month, that is just sad. I have re-dedicated myself to blogging more, I think part of my problem is that I am worrying too much about what I post instead of just posting what is on my mind. I also think I haven’t blogged enough about what I am up to, I am going to write more about what I have been doing lately and the plans I have for the future.
What better time to start then now.
My contract with my current client is ending this week, so for the first time since going independent I will be without a 40/hour a week contract. I do have a small contract lined up writing some software that I have been working on for the last couple weeks, but this will also be wrapped up around June 1st. I have alot of leads though, so I am not worried about finding something pretty quickly.
I also recently finished a new article for a print magazine, and have 2 other articles in the works, one for an online site and another for a different print magazine. I was working on another book proposal with a fellow blogger, but I had to bow out because I was busy enough with other stuff and I didn’t want to hold up the project for him.. but it could be very exciting.
I have a couple other things going on but I am going to post them separately.
