Many of you would be surprised to know that under this suave, dashing exterior I'm actually a ghetto boy at heart who was raised on NWA, Guy and several other excellent groups.  In an alternate lifestyle, I would have been a member of the WuTang clan (or Mobb Deep - by far my favorite group).  In my list of top artists, I used to include R Kelly in there - I've been a big fan for a long time.

Until now.

He's gotten gradually worse with each album.  He struck the epitome of corniness with his latest 4-part “Man in the Closet”.  How can someone not listen to any of those songs and laugh??  My wife, who normally tunes out my music in the car, couldn't believe that something so bad could be considered a hit song.  I'm afraid I have to agree.  He's gone from being an excellent artist to someone who I think is surviving now on reputation alone - and not on the quality of his tracks.

Anyone else out there an ex-R. Kelly fan??
