OK, so I pick up a new iPod mini for running and light soccer drills. (I’ll review how it holds up after some time with it)

The headphones are not so good so I get myself some of the Etymotic Research ER6i Isolator Earphones that Sahil and Brendan both recommended these as well). I got the headphones for $81 at buy.com which is also offering free shipping (although it was by foot I think given the estimated 9 day delivery). I’ll let you know how the new headphones work once I get them.

I’m now looking to get an armband for the iPod mini … one that will keep it snug, looks decent, is comfortable to wear, resists sweat and can stand a vigorous workout. This is one area that I have found little help on the web in my research of dozens of reviews. It seems there are several options including the Apple mini armband, the DLO Action Jacket mini armband, and the XtremeMax SportWrap iPod mini armband seeming to be the best of the bunch. (They all run between $20 and $30.) If anyone has any advice for a good iPod armband that meets (or darn near meets) my requirements, please bestow your wisdom upon me. I appreciate it!
