Well, here is the obligatory wrap-up blog post. It was overall a very good time. I think I got to quite a few good sessions and got the chance to meet a ton of new people. (especially a couple folks at Microsoft and O’reilly who I have been emailing with and finally got the chance to meet face to face)
Overall I wish I had gotten to more sessions and more cabana talks, but I can always catch the sessions on the DVD later on. It’s not that I didn’t go to alot anyway, but there were still some I missed that I wanted to see.
The logistics of the event were pretty good, lots of food everywhere and the bus service was decent. (not great, but OK) The wireless access was a joke, I never once actually got it to work. (You could connect but then that’s it) You would think Microsoft would take up that challenge and solve the issue.
As with any conference the best part was meeting and hanging out with fellow developers and creating new relationships, and I definitely had alot of time to do that since there was a party almost every night.
I get back to Cincinnati and then fly out on Sunday for a little vacation to Maryland, so I have to get alot of stuff done tomorrow.
