So it's 1:05 AM here in Belfast and I just back to my hotel from my INETA presentation. I haven't quite been so pumped after a presentation as I am right now. It's July and the traditional holiday season here where many people go on Holiday. Despite that, and with hardly any notice, we are able to get over 50 people turn out!! This was double their previous highest turnout and actually is one of the biggest INETA (non-conference) turnouts I have seen! I wish I could get my own group this good. The presentation was a non-stop gas. The Northern Ireland developers who attended got passionately into it, loved it and gave a lot of love as well as asking a lot of really smart questions. Then it was off to the pub where I held court for hours on the CLR with a group of people who just wanted more and more. I finally called it quits near 1AM as I am supposed to go to work in 6-7 hours. Wow, I'm so high from the energy of the group (and all the caffeine and Red Bulls) that I may end up staying up-) I want thank Damien and NIMTUG for a peak experience! I want to encourage fellow INETA speakers to come to Belfast as well as software developers. The city is fantastic and the people warm.
