I previously posted about the Open Source Maturity Model which is a great model to quantitatively score open source applications in several key areas - with the goal being able to decide if you should use the project.

It looks like Carnegie Mellon, O'Reilly and several others are getting into the game now, too, with the Business Readiness Rating. (via Brennan)
