Heard this funny story from Kimberly L. Tripp today.

So there was a company whose Sql Server kept crashing about twice a week, sometime between 2 am and 4 am.  Its was very difficult to figure out what was going on from examining information, but they knew it was down for about 5 minutes each time.

So finally somebody sat there, in front of the server, all night long monitoring the server to determine what could possibly be causing the server to crash.  After the third day of just sitting there monitoring, they finally figured out what was going on.

In the middle of the night, the cleaning crew would come in.  They would unplug the server, plug in the vacuum cleaner, vacuum the floors for a few minutes, and then plug the server back in.

I wonder if they have the server on a battery backup yet?

Ever have anything or heard of anything like this happening to you or somebody you know?
