Abstract: With the upcoming release of Visual Studio Team System 2005 (VSTS), code named Whidbey, Microsoft has finally made a large commitment to Enterprise Developers working in teams. The VSTS IDE and the associated Team Foundation Server bring a new robust source control system, work item tracking and dozens of other features. We will then look at the many new features of the CLR/.NET Framework 2.0 including Generics, Itterators, Anonymous Methods, Debugging Visualizers, to name but a few. We will pay special attention to .NET Generics, which can be utilized from any managed language. Examples will be given in VB.NET, C# and C++/CLI.
