One of the things I do for the Cincinnati .NET User Group is maintain a job annoucements mailing list and also post the jobs to the group blog. The reason I do this is that I want to help foster a good ".NET economy" in Cincinnati. I think when people see jobs available they are encouraged to learn more, and when companies find talented individuals for their positions they are more likely to stick with .NET.
Most of the job posting have been your average type of post, something about the job, random requirements, etc. But this latest one really impressed me, the title is "Do you want to Develop with Indigo, Avalon and ASP.NET 2.0 now?". What a great way to try and land a real geek.
