Some good news - WSSv2 SP2 will support the ASP.NET 2.0 runtime ... and there will be an announcement soon of a partner solution for enabling execution of ASP.NET 2.0 web parts in a WSS environment.

Some bad news - SPS2003 SP2 will not support the ASP.NET 2.0 runtime.
