I wanted to give out a shout to my very good friend Phil Stanhope, VP of Technology and Alliances at Adesso Systems who I spoke with the other day. For much of the time I worked at Adesso, Phil was working with the WinFS technology and I got to appreciate and particpate in a bit of it, meeting Shashir from the WinFS team in Redmond and learning a bit of it. I am really excited to see that Phil got to demo his work with a version of Adesso V3 to be able to synchronize with WinFS, at the PDC WinFS Overview/Deep Dive session. Of course, as Phil explains there are natural synergies between Adesso and WinFS. So take a look at the post and if you are not subscribed to Phil, I'd recomend it because not only does he know more about WinFS than most people, he knows a lot about this problem space (Lotus Notes, Groove, OCC, Edge Computing, Synchronization, etc.).
