My original intent with VisualStudioHacks.com was to post frequently, and well… that didn’t work out so well. I don’t have the time to post as much as I would like, but I don’t want the site to die off. So, I decided to do two different things.

1) I am paying Jim Holmes to write something for the site on a weekly basis, this should help with the content issue…. especially if I can get back to writing some content for the site. At some point I may enlist more people, but that depends on how this experiment goes.

2) I talked to Fabrice and I am buying a little advertising over on SharpToolBox.com, it seems like the perfect audience for the site. Right now the ad points to the Buy the Book page but I am contemplating just having it point to the front page of the site.

My goal is to put a little money in and see if I can make the money back through google ads and book sales. The google ad ratios and rates are pretty good for the site, I just need to increase the volume. We will see how it goes.
