Our very own Steve Eichert recently posted on the skeptics' view of agile.  It has taken a while, but I have compiled responses to each of the original concerns, in order.

Darrell approaches most of the issues here very eloquently. I like the way he thinks. Still, even though I'm “sold” on agile dev methodologies, I'm still not sure how well they are transferable to the customer. I guess I'll have to read more about Scrum, not just XP.
