Since I hijacked my own topic last time, let's try this again shall we? Lots of interesting stuff the last week or so, some now not so soon but what the hay, its all good.

• Fumiaki Yoshimatsu reports that Office 2003 is a CLR Host. Mighty interesting.

• An update for Windows Media Player versions 6.4, 7.1 and 9.0 has been released. This patch updates Windows Media Player v9.0 to 9.00.00.3075.A security issue has been identified that could allow an attacker to execute commands on a computer running Windows Media Player.
