Microsoft dropped LookSmart like a bad habit, sending there stock down over 50%. It looks like Microsoft might actually be serious about trying to compete in the search engine market. If they are serious then they need to come up with an engine that is better than Google, not just good enough, or different, but better. It's going to be an interesting battle.
