According to this Techweb article, Yukon beta 2 (and Whidbey beta 1) are slated for May of 2004. If that's the case, I think that it will no longer be possible to release those products by the end of 2004. The release candidate phase will not follow for 3-4 months, and from there an extensive evaluation of the software will still be required. Seems more like early '05 will be the timeline.
