This has long since been one of my favorite features in Outlook - the ability to specify whether images embedded in an e-mail should be automatically downloaded. Well, now the e-mail client
in Panther (Mac OS X 10.3.x) now has the capability.

This is a big plus when accidentally opening spam containing those crappy images. It also serves to block those pesky image/script combos that can either help validate an e-mail address, or attempt to install a virus on your system.
