My Panther installation went without a hitch on my 12" iBook (600MHX G3 with 384MB RAM). I did a clean install so that I eliminated all the old software I never use and can start from a fresh base.
I'm still experiencing a mini-lockup of sorts (the cursor goes to that pending colored pinwheel for ahile, and then comes back), but that also happened with Jaguar as well. All of my existing apps (Office X, etc) all seem to work fine. AS I investigate the new features I'll post more details on my thoughts of this version versus Jaguar.
If anyone has successfully installed the .NET CLR on Panther, please let me know how it went.
