Almost a month ago, Paint.NET v3.0 was released. The download rates are through the roof and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. I also released an updated version of PdnBench, which is a command-line utility that benchmarks various parts of Paint.NET's rendering code. Back when Intel released their Core 2 Duo, I published benchmark results comparing it to the Athlon X2 -- including some rather interesting 32-bit vs. 64-bit results.
