John Udell nennt sein Vorgehen "the principle of keystroke conservation". Es
geht darum bestimmte Nachrichten lieber zu bloggen, als diese per E-Mail zu senden.
Die Blogger schreiben seiner Meinung nach weniger E-Mails, reduzieren die Anzahl der
Tastenschläge und gewinnen dadurch mehr Zeit.
"... Was the email message you wrote to three people possibly of use to thirty,
or three hundred, or thirty thousand? If so, consider blogging it — externally if
that’s appropriate, or internally otherwise. Then, if you want to make sure those
three people see the message, go ahead and email them a pointer to it..."
Eine interessante Betrachtung. Wieso interessant? Ich sehe nämlich die ganze Knowledge
Management Branche jetzt aufstehen und sagen: "Wir predigen so etwas seit so vielen
Jahren und jetzt kommt ihr mit eueren Blogs, Wikis und sonstigen Zeug ... und entdeckt
die Welt erneut.". Toll, nicht wahr. Ihr hattet Recht... ;-)
