Having acquired a Zune ... I need to be able to convert videos to the Zune formats. There are a number of commercial offerings but these alternatives may be of interest:
Microsoft Expression Encoder - designed to generate gorgeous VC-1-encoded content wrapped in a Silverlight experience - actually has the option to generate Windows Media video and audio optimised for the Zune. preview download
Encode360 - an application which will convert virtually any video format to high quality WMVâs which can be played by the XBox 360 or the Zune device.
