I just received the schocking news that my dear friend David Boschmans has passed
away in the night of 7 August 2007. David did have some cardiovascular problems over
the past year which unexpectedly proved to be fatal. I don't have the right words
to express my feelings about this sudden lost.
David and I met for the first time during EMEA Connect Event back in 2004 in Barcelona.
We had a lot of fun by playing a football tournament on FC Barcelona football ground.
David was the most passionate community guy with tons of great ideas and full with
energy ...
I remember our last discussion in a bar in Barcelona in the middle of the night
equiped with Mochitos. We could talk for hours about so many different things. He
was a great buddy and a colleague. We discussed his ideas and activities many times
in past years ... and David even managed to join Microsoft and make all good things
come true on behalf of belgian community.
David, I will always remember you as a one of the smartest and nicest persons
I have ever known. Thanks for everything you've done, we will never forget you.
My sincere condolences to his wife Veerle and his doughter Fien.
