The success story [1] continues ... As you may remember I was judging the TechEd Speaker
Idol competition last year in Barcelona. It was not only the great fun for
all of us - we discovered an exceptional speaker Bart de Smet from Belgium who will
rock the TechEd stage this year in Barcelona as a Speaker Idol winner and technical
presenter.

What is this Speaker Idol all about? Participating in this competition you'll become
the opportunity to demonstrate your presentation skills within just 5 minutes
on stage and jumpstart your career as an international speaker.
The top presenter will win a Speaker ticket for TechEd Developers
2008, with the opportunity of presenting a technical breakout session to an audience
of developers attending the conference. The first runner-up will win a delegate
ticket for TechEd Developers 2008. The winner will also become a member
of INETA Europe International Speakers Bureau. ;-)
Presentation submissions (short movie of your self presenting as WMV, MOV, AVI,
MPG, FLV, MP4, 3GP) are to be emailed to SpeakerIdol-dev@mseventseurope.com,
together with participant name, company name, job role, email address and contact
telephone number. Deadline for submissions is 5 October. Go
for it!
