I was reading a set of comments by Rob Howard, Scott, and Pascal (on Pascal's blog). One items (among many others) that came up is it is sometimes hard to keep up with secondary discussions (ie, comments) via blogs. Agreed. One thing .Text and a couple other blog tools now support is CommentRSS.
In recent weeks some great tools like SharpReader and RSSBandit have added aggregator support for CommentRSS. Its still “Pull” technology, but it does make it a little easier to see what else is going on.
Before I am asked, there is nothing “YOU” have to do to enable CommentRSS. Both SharpReader and RSSBandit will do all of the work if blog supports CommentRSS.
If your blog does not currently support CommentRSS, please ask to have it added. It is quite simple to implement.
