Was ist GGDD?

definition, a Girl
Geek is "someone who is female and has an interest in technology, particularly
computing and new media. Not necessarily technically minded." As such it is not required
that you 'nerd out' but actually there are quite a lot of women out there who like
to have gadgets and play around with new media. It is just a bit different than what
guys are usually doing.
A Girl Geek Dinner is an event, where these Girls come together and have fun, network
and more. Rather than having a Girls only event (which is fine as well but not necessary
to the liking of many women), this is an event on equal footing with guys because
at least 50% of the attendees are female: guys are invited to come also to the event
- but only if invited by a female guest..."
