... WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 12 PM EST SUNDAY...

THIS WARNING INCLUDES CHESHIRE AND HILLSBOROUGH COUNTIES IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE AS WELL AS NORTHWEST MIDDLESEX COUNTY IN MASSACHUSETTS.

THE LEADING EDGE OF SNOW WILL ARRIVE DURING THE MID TO LATE EVENING AND SNOW MAY FALL HEAVILY AT TIMES INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

THIS SLOW MOVING WINTER STORM WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE PERIODS OF SNOW DURING THE DAY ON SATURDAY... HEAVY AT TIMES LATER SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY MORNING.

WHILE IT IS STILL TOO EARLY TO KNOW EXACTLY WHERE THE HEAVIEST AXIS OF SNOW WILL BE... THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR ACCUMULATIONS OF 12 TO 18 INCHES BY THE TIME IT ENDS SUNDAY MIDDAY.

NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE SATURDAY NIGHT AND SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE. TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT ESPECIALLY DURING THE TIMES OF HEAVY SNOWFALL.
