I picked up this book a couple weeks ago, but I have not yet had a chance to dig into it yet. HackNot has a good review of this book though, which sounds like it is a good reference for UML guidlines. The review also points out that the author has a penchant for self promotion, which sounds like it could be very annoying. (btw, this book takes it title from my favorite english book The Elements of Style) -James
