Well, I've worked with the new Mac OS X battery update for my 12" iBook for 2 days now (see earlier post), and I've experienced NO ADDITIONAL BATTERY LIFE. My max life using the "optimized for battery usage" settings is still around the 2:00 range on a full charge. This is one of my major complaints with my iBook - which is otherwise a great laptop for my authoring needs.
